    i know all us alckies choose random dates to begin abstinence ...... today i am going to have the last few drops of wine (few glasses) as discusssed medically ....... then i realised the date 8/9/10 ....... am planning to make this my last day karma and all that i could wait till 10/10/10 but thats too far away .... + seeing doc tom he might be able to help if i can convince him am serious if not oh well 8.9.10 good feel ....... those of you reading the rock bottom thread might understand this is how it might be meant to be PM x :groupluv:
    I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round .... really love to watch them roll .... no longer riding on the merry-go-round ...... I just had to let it go

    Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans

    Hey Pompy, you are sounding better than earlier, good luck with your plan, the worse thing is not having one.

            I was confused. I thought you meant 8-9-10 as in August 9, 2010...but I realize that some of you write the date opposite of how we do... My head was spinning for a minute. LOL

              I can relate to this, my quit date is 01-01-10
              my 1st AA meeting was 11-01-10
              I had to quit on my 1st attempt, there was no room for 2nds.......
