We haven't had the aftershocks that christchurch has been getting (I'm 45 mins away) but I think they have had over 300 aftershocks. I am taking care of a bull terrier at the moment whose owner has lost his home.
It's time I put my big girl pants on. :grannypants: I hope they fit.

don't mind me - just burbling away.
why do people choose their avatars? is it to reflect their personalities or their usernames?
            just wondering.

for me, my old beagle was my best friend during a difficult teenage-hood.

& prolly reflects my stubborn, one track persona. BUT i'm kind to old people & children & am generally easy to maintain......

It could be worse, I could be filing.

nature surely is shouting out big time huh.

here though, it is sincerely beautiful. blue skies, gentle breezes, spring, warmth, sun.
if we didn't need an absolute shit-load of rain, it'd be blissful....

i'm hangin' to get my goldie ret pup soon - reminds self to ring breeder.

here's a terrible confession - Zeppie2 was my bull terrier, her real name was Zephyr Baby but I had a race dog called Zephyr so she became known as Zeppie2. She died at 18 months old in her sleep and I was so trollied at the time I didn't notice that she was dead for most of the day.

That is why I don't drink anymore

Beagle - we had a mad beagle called Bracken when i was a kid, he was adorable but loved running away! Why don't you have a avatar? Mine reflects how I'd like to be....

chill - i feel small currently.
thus i use small letters, & feeling timid almost, amongst powerful personas who radiate a lot of energy. am just rather insignificant atm.

as for the mad beagle, i know what you mean!

I have a million horror stories from my drinking days - that unfortunately is just one of them, but I still feel sickened when I think about it. I drank for another year after she died. Took me a while to learn
