there's 18 years Chill,
yes Oney, he gets like that when he gets a reminder of his age, this time it was renewing his drivers licence. last time it was when he went to the Dr.
No one would guess that he is as old as he is, I thought he was at least 8 years younger.
He is worried about him being too old for me, I have told and told him that I am not concerned but I guess he doesn't believe me.

Zeps can't he just enjoy what you have going for you right now? No one knows what's going to happen in the future, even the most ideally perfectly matched couples break up, if it feels good now that's all that counts....

I've tried to tell him that Chill, and he settles down for a bit and then it's right back to square one again. My good friends husband of two years died last month and he was only 36, my brothers friend died the same month at 39. You never know when your toes will curl up so it's best just taking each day as it comes.

Absolutely Zeppie we don't know what life has in store for us, when I was married all my friends used to envy me and sAy they had never seen such a happy couple but it all went wrong...:upset:

We never own anything in life not possessions or relationships, everything is transient, it's all just for rent, I say enjoy everything while we can.....

I will just have to wait and see if he gets over it, he has told mutual friends about how much he cares about me. It drives me bonkers, it seems such a waste of good times that could be had, but at the moment I can't reason with him. Most men would be strutting about with a younger bird on their arms.

Zeps, Dont mean to be a downer but when i was 34ish went out with a girl who was lovely,but she was 22 and i said to myself there is no point keeping this relationship going as when i am 50/60(i always thought long term)she be still in her late 30,s and would want to do what people of that age do,me having been there wouldn't be so inclined,so what was the point in staying together,we were together for 2 years when i left & she was not to happy about that,even though i thought i did it for the both of us,......(wonder were she is now )

All my girlfriends were talking last night about how their partners retreat into their caves and don't want to talk about anything, drives them all nuts! I think I will stick with my dog for now it's much simpler to understand her than try to decode the male mind
