There's a lot to be said for the Buddhist philosophies. I've been reading up and studying them for quite a while now. There is so much out there it can be very daunting but it has helped me find a calmness and a different introspection that I enjoy a great deal and have helped me find a way though the maze that modern living places before us, a lot of which I find totally unnecessary when viewed from a perspective only slightly skewed from the norm.
Once again, friends and family think I have lost a few more marbles but I see their closed mindedness as their sad loss.

Well, I'm having a quick nap before I have to go to work and take my slap on the wrist for being sick.
Have a lovely day my friends.

It is tough but I think we could all learn something from buddhist teachings, which in my opinion is a way to live in the here and now and in the correct way. Something us alkies need to put a lot of work into. Thats why I liked that book about the steps so much.
