It is very bad amongst the children of wine farm workers, where they still have access to a daily ration of AL if they so choose. In the past, they didn't have a choice: a part of their salaries would be paid in AL!!!!

KTAB;958836 wrote: Actually that was a bad night, I was out with friends in Dublin and when the taxi for a few of us was ordered, no chance of my getting in it. Decided instead to stay with the crowd from Dublin and keep drinking and on to a night club. Finished about 4 am and stayed in one of the guys apartment. Apparently I fell up the stairs and ended up with a black eye and bruised face. First stop in the morning after about 3 hours sleep was a shop for some sunglasses and then off to the early house. What f**king insanity.
So glad that part of my lfe is done with."It's not your job to like me, it's mine!"

It didn't matter a hoot what time the bars/pubs etc opened I was a stay at home drinker with the occasional lurch to the shops.
You had the balls to leave that life behind, they are only memories of the past....leave them there and be the wonderful person you are today...

In hindsight not sure which was worse, drinking at lunchtime and being pissed in broad daylight mid afternoon or being still drunk for about 2 hours after getting up in the morning.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Yep...of course we should, I used to think about all the shite I used to do and the time I wasted....now I celebrate that I found my way out and look forward to all the wonderful times I am going to have (and remember) in the future.

Then we have the not making any appointments or meetings till the afternoon, knowing full well the bloodshot glassy eyes and smell of stale drink was a dead give away. The joys of being a daily drinker never ended.
JC I look at people like you guys and see it can be done, you are all living proof.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?
