We're having "happy hour" after work tomorrow - I just told the boss I'm not going. When he asked why, I said b/c "I don't drink." Though he's known me for years, he didn't miss a beat -- just said "What's wrong with coming and having a glass of water?"

Not great Oney
She keeps waking in the night and choking, taking morphine, oxygen and inhalers takes ages to settle her down. And today the bank called to say theyd cancelled my card on her account cos I hadnt used it and she would have to go in to re authorise a new one. She said OK we will pop in on Sat. WTF!! She doesnt have the strength to do that! And the bank told her there was no other option
So I rang up and told them she was dying. Its amazing how that gets things moving...
