Strategy #4: Build real self esteem. This is the strongest form of relapse prevention: if you truly value your life, you will not throw it away on a relapse. Take care of yourself. Push yourself to grow. Help others.
Loved this especiallyWhile we may not be able to control all that happens to us, we can control what happens inside us.

Mama Bear, thanks for this post. It was timely. Also, it helped me realise that I am special:-

Just being facetious, but it is really true as I went ages between binges, could even drink moderately from time to time, and so I was in denial, as the article says.
