Just popped in for a quick eeky: to see what's up. Commercial break right at the moment.
Had a lovely time at the beach even tho' the water was unexpectedly cold. Finally got up the courage to jump in and swim although it was chilly by my standards.

Spuds, we have something like that here at Easter. There is a candle and lantern procession that goes out from the churches and around the neighbourhood for a few blocks. It is just so lovely to see. Luckily, it doesn't often rain although sometimes the weather is fairly cool. So beautiful to look at. That's on Good Friday evening about 9:30 and then on Saturday at midnight there is more lighting of candles as the "holy light" is spread to the people and then fireworks as well. It is one of my favourite parts of life here in Greece. Hope the rain lets up and you can enjoy your evening. If it still pisses down, carry a big umbrella. It will protect you from the rain and from the need to take shelter in the pub...
