And the winners prize is having its throat slit......takes all sorts I suppose. I am looking out of the window into the adjoining field of cows and calves. Most evenings about an hour before sunset the calves go chasing each other around the field playing in single file maybe ten long at full speed. It is very funny to watch. Think I would prefer that than this;
"Here each animal is closed in and instantly killed with a captive bolt - a pistol-like device powered by a .22 blank which shoots a bolt into the skull and then retracts. Once that's done, one side of the enclosure releases and the body - muscles still jerking as the synapses fight to the last - falls limply onto the concrete floor.
