yep JC he's settled in ok, at first he didn't have anyone to play with, but then thats norm I guess as he's new at the school..but it's getting better, he was cheeky and pretended he couldn't read very well or write...
both of which he can do very well...even if a little slow, but he can.....

so last thursday afternoon I took all his new toys away and told him he could only have them one by one if the teacher tells me he's been working, and she's giving me what he doesn't finish home to do...!!

it's working..(so far) ..!!

he must maintain it as they are given for working they will be taken away again for not working...!!
feel hard mummy..but he's a stubborn boy and I KNOW he can do it...!!!

howz you now anyhow??

i went to my woodturning class last night,, havent been for ages so its time i got back into it. a lady there (a very interesting 70 year old who does loads of 'stuff') keeps inviting me along to her 'craft'nights. basically a few of them get together and do crafty stuff... just my kind of thing with interesting people. i had a chat with her about it and she was telling me all about it, great, then she said.. ah but sometimes we just chat and drink wine..... arrrrggghhhh!!! nooooooo!!!!. think im still gonna go, ive seen her drinking, she sips a nice glass of good wine... errrmmmm. im gonna have to get my plan for this.... cant drink cos of ... my diabetes/tablets/blood pressure etc etc etc. i dont want to not go as it all sounds interesting so ill just have to re-invent myself in this new circle of people. why does AL have to be involved in everything. no wonder we find it so difficult.

Maybe give the 'craft's night' a wide berth for now Soud until you're stronger. Although, maybe not all of them drink there either, but it would be stressful for me in the earlier af day's i reckon. Woodturning sounds great. I need a proper shed!
