Good evening sillies. I'm exhausted after my meet up with Beagle yesterday and last night, but I had the best time. She is fabulous and we really hit it off. We passed through the Fremantle Market on our way to the Capri Restaurant and bought mangoes, pawpaw and the first cherries of the season. I have enough for everyone...:h Mish :h

The cherries are the first of the season and are simply delicious. They're grown in a little country town called Donnybrook which is where Pink Lady apples were first 'created' and also have wonderful apricots as well as apples. My daughter Ashelee lived there for about six years, first with her dad and then on her own with my grandaughter, Kaysi.mama bear;1011627 wrote:

Beagle is delightful, a truly beautiful and funny soul. We really hit it off and she knows she is welcome here any time she needs a break from the farm. Our senses of humour are very much in sync and we have some great memories of our first meeting. Her kelpie had puppies on Friday so she headed back home on Saturday morning. Hopefully we can get together again soon. We have other fine foods to sample and bring along to the taco truck.:h Mish :h
