Meet Me At Dos Gatos
Hey Fennel - sorry I missed you. Scott's birthday tomorrow & I've been wrapping presents. Of course, now I need to buy a bunch more for the munchkins. :H:H"Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

How is James??
Mama, I was serious about the corset stays. I look mighty fine in a black corset with fishnet stockings (we could weave our own) and a velvet choker.
I spoke to James on Sunday. He's in a lot of pain from his liver/pancreas but hopefully he can get more pain patches to see him through. Fresh Sart gave him Ketamine ampules but they cost $130 for 5 and they don't last very long. I'm worried about him but hopefully he can get more help with it. He's doing well on the booze front though. I'd hate to see him go backwards.
Nora, you're sounding a bit better. You're in my thoughts and prayers.:h Mish :h

Hope you're mom is recovering well Fennel and Mish I'll be thinking of James. If you can find Slippery Elm bark powder let me know and I'll tell you how to make a gruel. It should help with his pain.

Thanks RC. I'll get onto the Slippery Elm bark directly.

yes, make a warm compress. saturate unbleached cotton (tea towel) then place over liver/pancreas -- cover with plastic and place warm hot water bottle on top

I'll find both the Slippery Elm bark and castor oil and pass that information onto James. Thank you so much for the tips. He needs as much help as he can get.:h Mish :h
