Fennel - so glad that you are so positive. You are going to be hauling my butt around for a few days until I hit the positive feel. But, I'm doing it anyway. :H:H :l
Mish - I still need to try the Campral. Tried it for two doses and it just made me feel enough odd that I wanted to wait until the weekend. Then I got hit by a stomach flu so might be able to start it tomorrow. If that doesn't work, we'll try the Bac. But, I'm still taking the antabuse in the meantime.

Fen, that's great. Moderating could never have worked for me. The SEs of Bac aren't very nice, but most of them are over by the end of the first week. I really went at it like a bull at a gate and titrated up very quickly because once I get in my head, there's no shifting it (like the sheep in the Monty Python sketch) and I never do things half heartedly. Including drinking.
I'm 28 days AF and the Bac has taken all the struggle and angst out of sobriety. I'm all ready to put my name down for an AF Dos Gatos January challenge, fully confident that I'm not going to end up being hauled up onto the truck, lashed securely with one of Nora's hairs and decorated with toilet paper.

Nora, I'm so happy to hear from you. You've been missed. Also Ruby.

Thank you Fen. Dos Gatos is very quiet at the moment. You, Mama and I seem to be the only ones maintaining the truck, the fainting goats, the quokkas and the crafts centre. I hardly have enough time to work on the hammocks! Come back Ruby, RC and Coco. We miss you and this thread is sometimes decidedly unsilly without your contributions.
