    hi sav, there are whole threads, even sites about TSM. it is very exciting, i am tempted to start drinking again so i can quit better

        Interesting Savon, I had not heard of it, but then I haven't really researched it much. I'm an all or nothing drinker though so I don't think it's for me but I'm glad you shared it.

          It makes no sense to me to take one drug so that you can take another drug.

            old research getting more attention?

            It's amazing how old research gets so much media attention. Great points in the article. I agree with a lot of it. But they did miss the point of the huge pitfall of self-administration of naltrexone. I remember one member here years ago having great success with this. But then she would fall into the trap of allowing herself "naltrexone free" nights here and there. Special occasions. That's the trap if you even get that far. The truth is that people want the high. And this decision to have a pill is voluntary. Otherwise, I think that article is great, reflects a welcome move away from AA dogma, and challenges thinking.
