ooh ooh I forgot to tell you, but Mr JC reckons if we save really hard I'll be able to get over to Dublin sometime next May.
I could have got a flight this year for ?6 and come over for the day, but it was the same flight coming back. So you'd all have to come to the airport wave hello as I went from arrivals over to departures.

Hi Betty! It is very quiet in here today. I was up very early and no one had started the thread yet. I had to run and get the kids ready for school and myself off to work so I didn't get to say hello this morning. Got home a little while ago and ate a huge bowl of champ (yes, a bowl and spoon -how elegant:H). The weather is turning cool and I've been craving comfort food. If I go on this way I'll be huge. And I can't afford to buy all new clothes!!! Augh! Isn't there a diet thread on here? Maybe I should join! I've always been a size 10 (or smaller!) but that is soon going to be a thing of the past!! Better than drinking but I just don't feel like myself anymore:upset:.

Hi Fluff!! Champ is mashed potatoes mixed with warm milk and scallions (umm, and butter too!) Very fattening but fast, cheap and yummy! My mum used to make it for us!
