My broadband is radio-based - I have this receiver thingy up on the roof (it doesn't look like an antenna, more like a small boxy thingy...

I can get cheaper ADSL these days, but then I'll have to pay line rental again (about 10 Euro p.m.). These feckers will find a way to screw us over...

        Now I wish I hadn't:upset:

        ?33 on mobiles
?73 on land line.........this will be changing by the end of the week as we're changing suppliers to O2 and should be less than ?20 a month including Broadband.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Hi di hi guys.

I am with talk talk. About 20 quid a month for broadband and telephone. Happy with that...oh and free calls abroad

Mum update - she is going to stay at home, no room at the hospice just yet but cant be left alone at all. I am taking extended leave from work and my brother and I are going to care for her as best we can for as long as we can at home

              Hey, Squirry

I know its going to be very tough on you. Is your mum OK to let you guys assist her? As long as that is the case, maybe this is best? For her to be in her own environment? Do they at least give you pointers and such?

I am happy to be able to help her.
It is hard, she couldnt get off the loo this morning, and of course she wasnt happy about calling for help, but at least we can do it.
Macmillan nurse is coming in Wednesday. I am a little disappointed actually and the district nurse is nowhere to be seen just now. Between me rich and my bro we have organized round the clock care.
If there was no one, she would be taken to hospital and probably left in a shitty bed. Thank god that isnt going to happen

She is more comfy with me administering her meds at the right doses at regular intervals. She was skimping on them sadly
Thank god she is just letting me do it...
