Now this isn't maudlin or anything, but it's 5 years ago today since my bezzie mates funeral (she died from breast cancer) and her wake was brilliant. It was tears and laughter all the way.

It so happens that the ladies "manning" our stall wore pink t-shirts... Plus we had breast cancer scanning as a pre-event for a mere R20. It works with light or something.

Hi there Zen, Ktab, JC, Tips or anyone else who may be about!

I've been trying to find the link someone posted a while back (actually quite a while back - months maybe) to a You Tube of a doctor - himself an alcoholic - who now lectures on alcoholism. (I just tried to watch the Rain in my Heart things - I don't think I can.) I think I'll start slowly...

She's had 2 England football shirts. The 1st one a proper doggy one that was ?24.99 for the 2006 World Cup..........fast forward 4 years ?1.99 from Primark for the 2010.

The pink T-shirt is one I bought for the son and heir yonks ago. It's got

'Who dear? Me dear? Gay dear?'

on the front.

Hello Army.

Got back from the hospital a while ago and just wanted to let you dear people know how things are.
Mr. Stirly is in stable condition but of course hooked up to machines and such for another 24 hours. He's going to be transferred to another hospital by the end of the week and will have a coronary angiogram and right after they will do angioplasty. Now I'm not sure if it will be done with just the balloon thingey or if they will be putting in a stent. I will ask for the second as it is more permanent. I'm a little worried about the angioplasty as there are risks involved but it can't be avoided as he has one blocked artery from the first heart attack and now a second from this one. So that leaves only two and if he was to have another heart attack, that would be it.
I just want to thank you again for all your concern - for the kind thoughts and prayers and the candles you lit. :h
As you can imagine, I'm very tired and am going to walk the dogger and go to bed. Wishing you all...
