    Army Thread 30th September

    Morning lovelies

    How is Mr Stirly?

Mum seems very peaceful just now, just wants teh radio on and to stay in bed really. We talk quite a bit and last night Fudge slept on her bed. She was so happy about that. Larry was at her side.
This means the world to her and today we have talked about how she isnt worried about anything, as logn as she is comfy with the meds she is is very glad she isnt in hospital.

    I am grateful

Have a good day everyone :l xxx

        I'm alright thanks, Starty

I've a few nigglies of my own to sort out, but they're inconsenquential in the bigger scheme of things.

I know many of you are dreading the onset of winter, but I'm very grateful for the extra daylight time - it makes my schedule feel less crazy

          No niggles are inconsequential.
You know I have heard peeps say stuff like "my troub;es are nothing compared with...." but they are. they are every bit as important as anything anyone else is going through.
We learn by our own issues. They are not trivial, so please talk about them if it helps.

            Thanks, Starts :l

Oh - much of it is nothing new, really, so let's not go there

Your mum's situation got me thinking, however - about my own mother. I've now twice offered to pay for a ticket so she can fly down and visit us. She turned 75 in August, and has spoken about her uncertainties about death to me before. Also that she wanted to make the most of the time she has left. Yet it seems it all came down to words. She is so caught up in that co-dependent life of hers, it's scary...

So I feel very disappointed right now... When her time comes, she'll have regrets. I'm sure of it. And that is very sad.

Well yes, she may do, but its her choice. Its what she wants. I try and remember that. Both about my own choices and that of others (my mum etc)
We are lucky that we get to choose and if its not the right choice in someone elses eyes...so be it.
You have offered. Thats a nice thing to do. She has declined, and its nice that she has the courage to do that. Many people say yes to stuff cos they feel they should and not cos they want to.
Just my 2p, its prolly a load of bollix

Yeah well... Then she must stop crying about it over the phone.

Sorry - just had to vent a bit :H

                        Good mornings Starty, Mr Tips

Starts does your Mum have a faith? I keep meaning to ask my parents about what they believe, my Mum is open but Dad would find that kind of conversation awkward. I have very strong beliefs in reincarnation so death to me is very much a transition instead of an end.

She is very very weak today, cant hold her cup.
Things seem to be changing hour to hour....
