AWESOME JOB GUY!!! Wow...7 days, that means you made it through a weekend too. It only gets easier from here! Enjoy your newfound freedom (not being chained to a bottle).

I am on day 23 after a "slip"...jeesh, I'll never do down that road again. I'm also on day 3 nicotine-free, but I'm not shouting out too loud about that one YET...need a few more days under my belt first! The difference this time is that I have promised myself, my child, and my higher power that I won't smoke anymore. That pretty much covers all bases...I can't go anywhere to sneak one!

Hope ya'll are having a great Sober Thursday...the weekend is near! Yay!

Today is fricking baby picture day at work. Hey did you see the picture of...??? I hate to be like this but to me they ALL look the same, like a knee with a little hair on it!

Leaving this afternoon for a weekend of plug fishing. This is a spring/fall ritual during stripper season. We fish from kayaks. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I'll post when I get a chance & if I have connectivity.

Techie, you have my sympathies! I am not a baby person (don't get me wrong, I love MY kid more than anything....), however I will pull over my car to pet a dog! LOL
The other day a lady came into my work with a sqwakin' newborn baby and I swear I could feel my ovaries shriveling up. Hows that for a visual? LOL :H

I have not posted here as I have made a home on a few other threads but I think it's great!! The support and encouragement are fabulous!!!
Techie, I was sorry to hear about the layoffs you have pending. I will never forget the night my father came home after laying off 40 people. He sat on the sofa and cried.
