its around 10.05pm on our Wednesday. Its spring time and around 16degrees celcius, my favourite time of the year.

My Year 9 Physiology and Hygiene Textbook actually made that point about not sticking anything smaller than your elbow in your ear...my best friend and I spent the better part of the lesson finding reasons why we shouldn't stick our elbows in our ears...such as
It's impossible to get your hat and sunnies to sit on straight.
It's impossible to get your bus pass out of your blazer pocket in a hurry.
You can't turn your homework in on time because you write really slowly with your elbow in your ear....
Was it for this my parents both slaved to give me a private school education?

Now to ear candles and a very real danger.
I had an urgent call from a very dear friend practically going out of her mind with Meunier's telling me she had burnt her arm and could I go around and dress it for her. It transpired that she had tried to do the ear candles lying on the lounge. The ear candle accidently set fire to the back of the lounge and in her shock she flailed wildly at the flames deeply burning her arm. When I arrived the smell was unbelievable, she was shocked and blistered and there was a huge hole in her lounge suite.
Although the smell cleared, the arm healed and her embarrassment eventually faded, the lounge remained scarred. Luckily she sews, and cleverly removed material from the base of the lounge and made two panels which cleverly concealed the evidence.
So G, unless you sew and have a friend nearby who performs First Aid, I would strongly recommend against the use of ear candles.

Divine...simply divine...I have found that since becoming sober that colours are brighter, the smells and sounds of nature more beautiful and vivid and the world seems a much more cheerful and fantastic place. I have to zoom off to bed Ruby, I'm buggered......have a beautiful day...keep breathing the air of the free, love Saff

Reg, that rendition of the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins is infinitely preferable to the debacle that has gone on here over the Hobbit movie. I am totally ropable about it ........ I dont think it is going too far to say that we have just given away national sovereignty in response to extortionist demands from a multinational.

Sorry to lower the tone by bringing politics in!!

Yep - today's going to be 24C, tomorrow 27C and rain on Sat and Sunday. Perfect growing weather. Might even work on Bridge. She could do with an extra couple of inches.

Now have to go and find out what's got Missy in a tizz ... off to the Newsroom ...
