It's gonna be a quiet day for me I think. Thanks reggie for my horse. I love the races!

Son rang yesterday and he is on his way to visit for the weekend so looking forward to that.

Work has dried up for him in Sydney but he will get work pretty quickly I'm thinking and I think he didn't like being on his own.

Mish I am going to look into those vitamins

yay for spring racing - love it in this house! Just thinking back this time last year we were there! In a black Arthur Galan dress & killer heels.....was in awe of the big raceday atmosphere but didn't really like it, prefer to watch the racing lead up etc etc & get right into it.
Thanks Reggie for Ulundi in the sweep - handy WA horse so quite fitting!
I've done well so far with Maluckyday in the 2nd & Brazilian Pulse AND Placement in the 3rd
race....so in front! Prawns & salmon skewers for lunch yummo.

Geez Beags - I remember you going to Melb for the Cup last year. I think you were going to go shopping in Chapel Street. Can't believe a year has passed. If Melbourne got the weather we had earlier, there are going to be a lot of pretty bedraggled ladies with hypothermia. It's pissing down up here.

Shas - chooks are beautiful - I'll try and do some Chook Chronicles next week. There's important stats to compile, you know how it is ....

Thanks for that, just googled it,I will be planting them, I'm not much of a gerdener, I do keep the garden tidy though, but since I decided to stop[try] to stop AL,[I must admit have'nt felt the urge to drink this last while] I'm getting interested in planting, new plants in the gardens, Lilly x

Well its pissing down here at the bottom of the world and I'm in heaven...easy for me to say I suppose seeing as we dont get flooded out, due to the terrain being made for such weather. My eldest son was at that resort in Mentawei Isalnds off Indonesia just two days before that Tsunami. They booked the whole resort out for two weeks to celebrate a close friends (James Huchison's) 30th birthday. Michael decided to head back to France early as he was called in by his work. None of the people at the resort got injured, but they came very close to death. Just goes to show, here one day, gone the next. There really isnt any time but the present to actively engage in living. Theres no time for bitterness, meaness of spirit, resentment of any sort, because it just wastes precious energy.....When things like this happen, the lesson has to be gratefully accepted and learned. Live and let live, no other choice
