Have a lovely day today Saph.
Well, it's about 2.oo a.m. and i'm on the ground in New Delhi. Newc met me at the airport, and we've just been out to a beaut little bar, where i ended up dancing with the chief minister. She stuck close to me, and i don't blame her, as Newc had had a couple, and was beginning to slur, but i have to say, he was still the gentleman, as far as Aussie standard's go, even if he was raising eyebrow's from the diplomatic corps. Ran into Boutris boutris ghali, who told me the artistic director for the games opening ceremony was looking for me. It seems that they're not happy with the arrangement for the opening song, and they want me to write a middle 8 section for it. Anyway, we'll have a listen later. I'm sending this on Tamsyn Lewis' I-phone thing, so i better get off it.

Sapph, I'd really like to get one too. One of my closest friends has a 17-year old son with really bad depression and I was telling her about your son this morning. (hope you dont mind but I read out your post to her on the phone). She is at one of those places where she cant see the light at the end of the tunnel. Like your son, his friends have stuck with him through thick and thin as well.
Mr B and son have driven off and I am playing my music!!! Anyone remember the "Ringo" album?? :H:H I had Seals and Croft on there for a track or two as well :H:H:H And Hotel California :new:
Glorious day for an afternoon in the sun!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hi Saph, yep, put me down for a copy, too. I was thinking about it all last night and would love to read this amazing young man's work.
Glad you didn't fizz up and bust with pride last night...think I might have.

I hasten to say I was 13 and with my first boyfriend when that song was current.
We also liked "Afternoon Delight" by the Starlight Vocal Band ..... that was when kissing under the wharf and holding hands at the bus stop before and after school was about as adventurous as we got :H:H:HNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
