    Underoos and Friends - October

    Evening underwearers,

For all those kind folk that would like a copy of Rowans book, he will be ordering more from the printers in the next dew days. I will keep you posted when they arrive and we can sort it out from there. Well dudes, bloody day light saving has descended upon us. Yeah yeah I know, everyone else loves it except me! I remember when my ex MIL was alive, she used to growl that her curtains got faded more cause of daylight saving....no amount of reasoning with her could change her mind:H Is there another Aussie alive who doesnt like daylight saving, or am I the only whinger here?

Well yes ... I'm a whinger ... I used to hang up the chooks at 7pm. Now I have to wait until 8pm. This is totally unasseptable as that time slot is beginning to encroach on my hori time.

Buggr'it. Hey - I wonder how Rags and Tips got on .... AND ...Mr.G ... are you ok there in Delhi? I'll be tuned in to watch the Opening Ceremony with the re-written middle eight ...

        Evening all,

Kid on street to me earlier.....'But G, don't you alway's say, remember, just above the cloud's, there are alway's blue skie's'?......... 'Not now kid, and don't play marbles on the road'.......

              Report-back:

It was fan-bloody-tastic to meet Raggsy & Mr. Rags (also affectionately referred to as Rags' walking wallet :H )

We spent a lovely day together - which is what lunch turned into - Mrs. T and I only got home around 5.30 this afternoon.

Rags brought me a packet of Tim-Tams (for which Tiggs had developed a taste), which had travelled all the way from Australia and survived a 5-week African safari! I do believe real men eat Tim-Tams? I've hidden them from the cubs...

Anyways: I'm glad it all worked out so we got to meet them :l

I've just made a suggestion on the Army thread that I'll repeat here ..... keeping the Army thread going when they go to bed to be there for Starty if she needs company during the night.

That's where I will be today.

Oh, and I meant to say .... the weather was so lovely over the weekend that I let Betty outside (this was in: I "let" her go out, as opposed to the times when she has sneaked out without my permission:H:H) and she has got fast enough to catch a skink. Very proud she was!!

                        TF - how's Wong?

Missy - Wong is healing nicely. Now it'll just be the long wait for his hair to grow back.

Oh good! Now I'm wondering how long does that take??? It fascinates me quite a bit!! Betty is only just starting to grow back the fur from her amputation, but the shaving that she had from the morphine drip (when she had pneumonia) is about half way re-grown.

(She has just come back in - her ears must have been burning :H)
