The weather here looks better so I might just do a spot of bush walking tomorrow. Theres a magnificent range of mountains nearby - The Dial Ranges that I get into regularly. Thick rainforest all the way, beautiful bubbling streams, birdsong and the chance of a wallaby, wombat, tassie devil to get a gander at. Ah the sheer bliss of sobriety.....no doubt about it, this is so much better than laying on the couch, half comatose and feeling sorry for myself.

Yep, 'the sheer bliss of sobriety' indeed. Plugging into nature is all the more enjoyable when not on the turp's. Bravo!
Today i shall adjust the idle on the car, then orf for a few rounds with me mate punching bag, who doesn't hit back. And i shall be sure to knock off early being POETS day and all.

G, Sapph, thanks for posting for Sunny. A really awful suicide, and they are all shaken. Please let all your mates know during our night. Sun is a beautiful, soulful person, and this has so shaken her reality. It's a great thing this site allows us to do, to share their sorrow and offer support.

Oh geez, suicide is just the worst. That is very sad. I'm sure folk's here will be greatly saddened to hear of Sunny and her partner's family's ordeal.

What a terrible thing for Sunny and her family. I cannot imagine their pain. It will take some time for this family to deal and come to terms with this...death is difficult enough for us westerners to deal with let alone someone who suffers so much in their life that they see taking that life as a way to deal with their pain.:h

Sure ... here it is ... now ... I went and bought an electric Flymo line trimmer today. Could you turn the hot tap up a bit? See ... I'm sick of things with petrol engines where you have to pull/pull/pull and you get zorsted before you even start. If it hasn't got a Honda engine, it's not worth pulling. Anyway ... ahhh ... just a tad more cold now, thanks ...

So - the Flymo gizmo, which is a substantial bit of kit with heaps of components and a power cord, cut-out switch and a warranty cost me $89. Fine. Ahhh ... perfect temp now Otto, thanks.

So ... pray tell ... why on the same shopping trip does the poncy little light-weight (non-big-name-designer) frame for my new specs cost $277? Hmmm? Hmmm?
