                        :hallo: Undies

Sapphy: I've only now read back in any detail. Your son's story is incredible! I am so happy for you :l

Reg: we love you too, dude

                        AND IN OTHER NEWS:

I've just gotten off the phone with Rags. We'll be getting together on Sunday. We're meeting at Spier Estate, just outside Stellenbosch.

From there, we'll be driving over the Helshoogte Pass to the town of Franschhoek (French Corner).

                        We'll be lunching at Reuben's.

I was thinking of suggesting that we skip dessert at the restaurant and pop in at the local chocolate factory... Maybe do both???

The Teddies haven't arrived in Cape Town yet, though. They decided to have an extended stay in Livingstone, Zambia. Apparently, they had an ulterior motive: to experience a bumpety bumpety ride in true Tigger style :H

They are winging their way to Cape Town courtesy of DHL at the moment. ETA = Monday.

Rags flatly denied rumours of having forgotten to pack them...
                        I'll do whatever it takes

Saturday morning and at last I have more than a minute to post!

Its a gorgie day here and I had good intentions of getting up early for a swim, but we played "Risk" with Mr B's boy from 6pm till 1:30am. I find it instructive that doing something as simple as spending time with him doing what he wants to do makes such a big difference to how we all get along. Thanks to the Family Court about a month back , this has been the first time he has been with us for more than a weekend for a long time. We've had a truly fantastic time ........ we were very careful not to go over the top and a lot of the week has just been spent in doing "normal" things - playing board games, cooking fudge, going to the library, watching DVDs etc etc. He is also very attached to Betty which is really nice and sneaks her into his bedroom at nights when he goes to bed.

Anyway, Mr B has to drive him back tomorrow, which is sad but it has been a really terrific week.

Sapphy - I felt like crying when I heard about your son's book! Like others have said, it really speaks to his courage and yours. What an amazing person you truly are!

And Mishmash and Oz-boy :welcome::welcome::welcome: Please make yourselves at home! Just make yourselves part of the family!

Tip - I echo TF's comments about how your meet up with Rags makes my heart sing. I think that when it comes to the internet and social networking, this site is about a million times better than Faceboook! To think that people from around the world can meet up as a result of having come to know some of most intimate secrets that we dont share with the people that we come into contact with day-to-day is just incredible. Hope you have a great time.

Reg - love your Leunig too! Hope you manage for the rest of your time with your MIL. That's lovely that you and Mrs Reg are getting close - enjoy!! Being in love isn't the be all and end all IMHO.

Bridge ..... mortgage broker? That house SOOOOO has your name on it!!

Techie ..... hope you are getting better and not such a mass of scars! Still waiting to hear how the bike is :H

Right. Enough emoting - I'd better get into the day. First on the list is weeding and mulching the front garden .......

Reg ... you know that we love you. Thought you might have been imbibing but one of the things about the undies that I love is that we dont judge. We all find our own path:l :l

                                Hello Reggie my friend,

Hope you are not feeling too hideous today! OLives bum wouldnt be the best way to wake up thats for sure! Now dont you go crawling into any holes today, you just dust yourself off and throw yourself out the door and into life...ya hear? Have a great big breakfast, drink tons of water and git going!!! If the weather is nice how bout spending some time outside in nature. Any parks or forests nearby? Sounds like you could do with some rejuvenating, I always find a bush walk shakes away the blues and puts life back into perspective again. If thats not on option what about going to the cinema, ,a drive in the country etc. AAnd btw no apology needed, so none accepted my friend.
