Reg,having spent the last couple of days in the company of my collective family (of Irish Catholic ancestry, so there are lots of them as most bred like rabbits ) I am in sympathy. Wont even start on talking about some of the things that have happened, but most have headed off today and the rest tomorrow and Mr B and I will now have a couple of days R&R!!

But my niece's wedding was lovely and she looked stunningly beautiful.

The wind today has been incredible - and that is saying something coming from "Windy Wellington" :H But I've been really enjoying being in Sydney ...... even with Mary McKillop banners up on every street :H:H It totally cracks me up!

I've had a very funny thing happen that to me totally epitomises how open and friendly Australians are. I got an Australian Vodafone SIM card, just to make communications cheaper, but incorrectly input Mr B's telephone number. After a couple of texts with the person on the end of the (other) number, we worked out that I had it all wrong, but he was really nice about it. However, part of one of the messages that I had sent to Mr B was wanting instructions on how to get from A to B ..... and this total stranger sent me very good directions back. :H Since then he has been my new best friend ..... even sent me a text this morning to ask how the wedding had gone :H:H

Evening everyone,

Magnificent day today.....walked the dog (or rather she walked me up a bloody great mountain)...sitting here like a zombie now.....Bridgos wheres ya note? Cough up spill.....Great to see you Starty and so glad that your mums funeral was beautiful.With my own dad (his new journey started two years ago), I miss him every day, but it is in a more serene way now...and I truly believe that he is with me everyday. Reg, families can be difficult, some more than others but each and every one of us have our pain...I think its important to look beyond the differences and try to remember or find some similarities. Bridge is right about folk reliving the past...I have a sister that does that...I think she doesnt have much else to talk about. Anyway Reg onwards and upwards, as you said you have survived the dark side. P.S. dont ever ring me up in the middle of the freakin night arse kin for my monopoly money...its mine right!
