Giving up for 10-12 years is a great achievement, it must have been something that she really wanted, so it is reasonable to say that she would want to get back to being sober again. Maybe she is lonley and drinking to comfort her?

Glad to help out a friend Zenny...heres the deal: Walk for half-hour with very sooky demanding spolit dog; exercise bike - interval programme for 40mins; fitball dumbell bench press 4 x 15; standing clean and press 4 x 15; fitball ab curls to failure, stretch, shower, train clients, post on here, clean house,post on here, walk to shop with backpack...collect food, stagger back, cook food, train more whinging clients, collapse on couch, post on here. Bloody hell Zen when you write it all down, it looks exhausting, second thoughts I'll stay in dressing gown on couch, post on here.....I wish

Geez Aspy, sorry to hear that. Good idea to suggest she go to an AA meeting with you. The self harming is worrying, and i echo all that Saph said. It sound's like the more support she can get now, the better. A G.P. is a good place to start too. Take care of yourself through this too mate.

yep David is stilll going hot and strong, I saw an interview with him on ABC about two months ago and he has many more docos lined up.....I've just had him on the phone, telling him about your oinker/sloth hybrid situation, he said he would love to pick up the story but he's a bit pressed for time and tied up with boa-constrictors and stuff

Aspy, it just makes me shitty to read stories like that. If someone told you they were an unstable diabetic, would you bring out all the chocolate you'd got in the house and slam it on a tray in front of them ? That 50 year old is an arsehole. I've got to say, even in my worst hours, I never tried to sabotage other people like that.

Feeling a bit weird today. Dunno why....just one of those days. Not much energy, more overcast weather. Think I better Rx by getting out of the house.
