OK boyls and girks ... chooks are locked up, I'm closing up shop and heading up the hill to the sleeping chamber to get my head stuck into another Techie-recommended novel. This networking thing is good. KTAB recommended the movie "In Bruges" (excellent), Techie recommended the novel "The Last Child" (excellent) so I'll now see what "A Reliable Wife" has to offer. Sometimes I think I'd like a reliable wife ... just to do the stuff I don't like doing.

And remember "I do love you, Koala Lou". Thank you linesmen, thank you ball boys. Nighters. (Might see you in 20)

In the sleeping chamber now - just before I go ... (I HATE typing on the MacBook) ... we missed the good storm here, just some tiny hail. Thanks for the book recomms Reggie - I tried the Marquez a few years ago but found it tough going. Will look into Life of Pi.

          MrG - I reckon you're Rex's Publicity Manager. Doing a great job.

Tips - thanks for the Raggsie update but it's qquite nauseating because I seem to remember that the day she gets back she's going to see Rigoletto (or something) at the Sinney Opera House. Just how hedonistic can one woman be?

Bridge - if you've got drop-ins, tell 'em to fusk off. You need to sleep, woman.

I don't do love threads but I'm glad I vaguely 'know' youse lot. Be kind to yourselves. Nighters for real.

If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Why don't you get another dog ?

We can never replace one with another. They are as individual as we are. But why not give another dog a great home ?

Well Bridge, i want to be free to travel extensively. And i sense that will happen soonish, next few year's, so too hard, but when i settle somewhere, for sure. I'll find a stray, or one'll find me.......

Night all, late check in, been out with three of the chicks for dins dins at the local pub. Lots of vigorous discussion about why some people end up mass murderers and others dont. Got into the old nature versus nurture debate et al. Thats the thing I love about the kids now that they are older; the interesting discussion and free thinking. My heart is full.....oh yeah......no murdering committed in the house today, although it was touch and go a few times....thank fusk they are off to school tommorrow. See you all then my lovlies xx

Yeah ... and can you snuff them out properly and not just blow 'em out? Lick yer fingers and squish the wick - otherwise they stink for ages.

                                Thanks in advance.
