The youngest cub is absolutely terrified of thunder. We once had a lightning strike immediately next to the window of the room she was sleeping in.
Whenever it starts ( a rare occurrence in the area we live in), she freezes completely - literally almost paralysed by fear, so I can empathise :l
Isn't it amazing what comfort cats can be? The very same cub puts a cat under her arm when she goes to bed at night. Without one of them, it takes her quite a bit longer to fall asleep.I'll do whatever it takes
