sounds like a very productive afternoon Lilly!!

I've had a similar one but for now am planning a moe! (sleep)

Mr B is taking his son back to his mum's tonight ......... we wont get to see him now until January. But he will have his mum's family surrounding him when he gets back, and a boy of that age cant be loved too much. Actually, I dont think that any one of any age can be loved too much :H

                    Good on you Aspy.
Lord knows how much help you can be to one another.
I think I remember you saying it was just you and your Mum as you were growing up.
What a great way to use your special bond to recover as well.

Nine?? :H:H You good woman you!!

Its not easy the step child stuff. Mr B's boy is just great and I love him to bits. I have no kids of my own so I cant say that I love him like that, but I certainly do so as much as I love my nieces and nephews. Unfortunately, but probably understandably, his mum feels a bit threatened about our relationship. I dont ever want to do anything that undermines his relationship with his mum, but sometimes I feel that whatever I do it is mis-interpreted. (eg; he always goes back with his school clothes washed and ironed, but apparently they always go straight back into the wash as we have not "done them properly"!) And more recently, we have gone from "not supporting him at school" because he went back with homework uncompleted to "pressuring him to perform" because of setting a couple of hours aside to get homework done for the next week.

Anyway, enough of a moan from me. It all comes with the territory!

                      I loved Be-witched !!!:H:H

Aspy - hope all goes well with your Mum -- keep us posted! I was thinking something similar to Sapphy - that after such a long time AF, she is possibly feeling very ashamed and scared. Anyway, will say a few payers to the Universe for her tonight.

Now: I'm thinking we haven't heard from the chooks for a few weeks, and Beagle promised us photos of her new pup! I've taken a few photos of Betty and Wookie chilling out this afternoon and as soon as I remember how to do the photo bucket thing I'll post them!

                                Bets,

MINE are stepdaughters not NINE! :H

I have 3 stepdaughters now nearly all grown up.

You will never be able to do the right thing obviously but just ignore her (mum ) and focus on the boy!

I have many funny stories on what the kids have said growing up.

Once my youngest stepdaughter who always came to my side of the bed as her dad was strict and wouldn't let her in so I used to sneak her in my side of the bed.

Well one day I woke up and she was looking at me sleeping when I opened my eyes she said " my mum said why don't you get your own bed!"

I laughed and said "but darlin you would miss me!" Luckily she agreed.

Bets your doing a good job..."it takes a village to bring up a child" not just the blood rellies.

techie I want to know as well Where is tawny she was going to show me photobucket.

Bridgee how do you think of the things you say? My mind is just too slow for this thread sometimes...I have no funny wit about me.

beags, how are you going? I have similar issues with my relationship at the moment...I just don't know if I want to stay
