    Glad that fire seems contained Beag's. It's hard to say how harsh summer will be like over here this year, but it's something not to be underestimated to be sure.

        Well the fire seems contained now. The front roared off with the winds this arvo & the smoke was a sight to behold. it was heading the opp direction to myself which was a relief. Did stretch the local fieries a tad though poor buggars. my hat goes off to them. we don't think any farmland has been destroyed but is saddens me to thin of all that nature reserve destroyed - but it was nature that started it ,lightening being the cause. Hopefully not too many critters got scorched.
        it's going to be a long hot summer folks, hold onto your hats.

        Don't worry about the plant life. Best thing for it, a good burn. I'm a big believer in controlled mosaic burning. One of the basic tenets of indigenous land management too.

        It's the poor little creatures, I feel sorry for.

        In the absence of a detailed adventure report, I shall repair to my boudoir.
        Maybe we'll wake up to a novella :H:H:H

          Yep Beag's. It sort of sank in a while ago really, and this is just how i live my life now. No booze. I've got lot's to do, including relaxing and chilling, and i love it all these day's. My life has changed now, and grog is now routinely not in it. It's very cool, and has opened up unlimited possibilities that i can actually visualise and see as possible.

                              morning all.
                              got i nice suprise when i got to work.
                              there is a stack of packets of allens 'snakes' on my desk, tred with ribon and a note.
                              there is a hand drawn snake on the note and a thank you for looking for and explaining about the snake in our roof typ thing.... made my morning
