    Hi everyone......Just got back from a party my neighbor gave. Had fun.....good to see a lot of the people that live here....and friends. I can't say I behaved....but I did'nt drink ! ha! Night everyone .....Tony

        Good morning all - just got back from walking Maggie and am now off to have breakfast with a couple of old friends - one of whom has a birthday today - 10-10-10 ! I feel better than I did last night and calmed/cooled down!! Will see you all later - have a great day and glad to see that you had a good time last night Tony. hugs to all,

            Good morning all! This date has a very special meaning to me....it's my daughter's 30th birthday!! Happy Birthday Becky! RC-I'm so glad that you came here....I love reading your posts and even though we have never "talked", you so inspire me. I hope you stay here in the "family". Ruby-you sure did scare everyone with your 14 broken bones comment. Roger...good for you to letting it go....you have us and you know we love you. Sunny-it sounds like your day is already starting off good. I miss talking to you and hopefully after this weekend will have more time. Tony, do you think we expected you to be good?


            I will hopefully be back on later - in between cleaning out "stuff". I hope EVERYONE has a beautiful day!!

              Grate, I know if you're like me you're remembering that day 30 years ago with sweet memories. I can't believe my babies are in their mid-30's. I'm still cleaning out 'stuff' too, don't know what to do with the stuff. Would really like to see things be used by someone who needs them. If I could bring myself to get rid of things it would be better, I know. We have buildings full of crap, and I KNOW I need to downsize. I'm not ready to be on Hoarders yet, but it might be in my future. It's a left-over I guess from a childhood having little my parents didn't make. Plus they instilled a love of antiques in me (Daddy brought home old houses!)

                Hi all
                Well lotsa stuff going on huh?? That person just jealous T , and maybe your Mum too Sun. Some people don't loke it when we aren't drinking. Funny how the brain is. Anyway....got a call from coffee shop yest morn, guy who was playing last night wanted a rhythm section to play with him so I said ok and it was playing for the door. So I went to rehearsal 430-7 and gig 8-10 and hardley anybody there. So the guy keeps all the money which couldnt have been much, since he drove down from Macon and owner gives me and bassman 25$ gift card. I was so dissappointed and had give my last 20 to my kid for bday party she was goin to last night. I about had it with the coffee shop and playing for the door. Only thing is it cost me nothin to go there since it in town ..still...thats alot of time put in most club gonna pay3 bills at least....hell...well maybe I can use gift card for xmas gift for my kids...also my kid had to load and unload all my gear cuz i still cant lift...so i'll stop bitchin now. Gonna be a nice day, im ready to go outside now.....later on

                  Good morning all Tony you are a trip we all know you are a folk of a very different stroke that is why we love ya HA 10-10-10 is a great day there goodness in the air. Greatfull tell Becky I said Happy Birthday! Roge hope you feel better. MB are you up yet and when do you start your new job? Sunny what can I say you are Sunshine always moving. Well got the get to church missed last night as it was home comming for UM. Going to church breakfast and a good bike ride. Have a great day

                    Sounds like a good day Biz!
                    Birdy, you need to put yourself out there for better paying gigs. I know that's easier said than done, but if you're not making money there, maybe it's worth the drive to a place where there's more business? I have a friend who has a band called Sawdust here and they'll play for the opening of a coke can!! And Alan Jackson's family started their own band and his momma plays drums. It's really just for fun for them.
                    I know you're good, I've watched the videos. It's just a tough time everywhere now. Don't overdo it before your well again. Call me if you want to just talk, OK?

                      Thanks Rubes. Almost all the musicians struggling around here Lotsa places used to hire trio now just want single piano. My piano playing is too lousy for that. Lotsa places gone to karoeke or d.j. Its ok, things will get better. I don't talk on the phone much, maybe once every couple months. I know that sounds crazy. Used to talk alot when I was drinking. Guess I havent figured out how to do it sober yet...hahaha....b

                            I am back - Ruby what is a'skeered? I had a great breakfast - there are the three of us and we try to get together once a month but it often doesn't work out that way but we always make it eventually. Definitely for a birthday though!

                            Bird, sorry the gig didn't work out for you - it must be so rough and frustrating!! I feel for you. No, mum isn't jealous - she hates the drink - my dad drank. so I don't know what her problem is, you would think she is pleased that I am trying to stop. Oh well, whatever, I do feel better than I did yesterday - I think it was just the shock value of reading the letter yesterday. I am fine today and will have to have a think before I reply - v-e-r-y carefully or else I will end up putting my foot in my mouth and saying the wrong thing.

                            Happy Birthday to Becky by the way Grateful. I am definitely NOT a hoarder and have very little stuff! Hubs is the opposite and I just ITCH to go through his stuff but he would have a fit! I keep nothing. And we didn't have anything growing up either Rubes, so that blows your excuse.

                            I am supposed to be painting today - the computer and the piano are in the middle of the computer room (pretty much all that is in here) and I just don't feel like doing it. Maybe I won't. Hubs won't be pleased. But I am not sure what else I will do. I could get out in the garden. Don't feel like doing that either.

                            Biz - lovely to see your posting here more! Hope that you enjoy your bike ride - our weather has turned hot again and is supposed to be up in the 80's later. I shall get going - no doubt seeing as I am not doing anything I will be back shortly!

                            Jan - where are you this morning? Get up! Swan? How are you?

                              I don't want to do anything either. Hubs must be waking up to how annoyed I've been with him. He's called twice today, once to tell me to hire a maid and then to tell me to order an outfit I was looking at. That's great, but I'd much rather have him be at home sometime (except for a sick day!). I feel bad complaining about too much work in this economy, but too much is too much!
