Hubs has come home, finally, and has been really thinking about my health, fixing stuff for me, making our life easier, but his plans are HIS plans, without giving a lot of thought really to what I want. We will come to a compromise, but so many of 'his' ideas are things I've been suggesting for a decade. Love him, hate his memory.
I know he's worried about me. He just has always thought his plans are the only way to go, even though everything I've ever pursued has been a moneymaker. His parents are home. Big whup. That's probably one of my biggest sources of stress. They 'gave' us their property, which we rent, in return for us giving them a house here, and his daddy has to go there every day and work on VW's. In my opinion, that's not a gift. Sorry for the personal rant.sigpic

Oh dear Rubes - well life does go on - and on - doesn't it? Biz - so pleased that you enjoyed your bike ride and happy birthday to Lisa too. Lots of birthdays this time of year. Jan - hope you enjoyed your Sunday meal cooked by your nana - lucky you! Even if I was still in UK, all of mine are gone now. Used to love going to visit with them though. My daughter has just left having gotten a full tank of gas (!) and clipped coupons while she was here. I am now going to do more of nothing - well, hang the washing in the cellar and then maybe watch some TV for a change. I have some stuff DVR'd that I want to watch.

Told Hubs he comes up with great plans that don't into account anything I want. He's in bed already. He has the patience of a flea!
No worries, after 40 years we're both too stubborn to give up. Poor Hubs, I know what you men are thinking! :H
I'm going to start a new program tomorrow, will be here less. Need to get out more, get more exercise, eat more. Made a great dinner of grilled burgers with all the trimmings, french fried onion rings, pickles and relish, but really couldn't eat much. I need to get out and work up my appetite more. TMB and I will take long walks, so please pray she doesn't eat any neighbors. Going to volunteer with CORRALTRC.ORG, a friends help group for disabled children. Anything to get me out of the house, as long as Hubs doesn't think I'm gonna get trampled! :H Just need to find outside interests, not that I don't adore you all!sigpic
