Pompey, so glad to see you. What are you going to rehab for? If you will stay with us, we will help encopurage you to go. I know how horrible it is. Topsy, your profile pic makes me want to go out and get a new puppy or kitten, whatever that precious face belongs to. Hope you both will stay with us. We have a very loving, tight family. Nora, how are you doing, sweetheart? You've been awful quiet. Panno, it's so good to have you with us. You don't talk much about yourself and I don't really know you, so spill it... Biz, I love your avatar and your dedication of it to Ryan. I cannot even imagine the pain of losing a child. God bless you, my dear friend. Bird, thank you for making me feel less stupid about the minows. So how long will they live in an aquarium and do I feed them regular fish food? I'm so thankful this young woman made it through the surgery and I am praying for a quick and complete recovery! Doctors really can do miracles sometimes. When my digestive system shut down, they implanted a pace maker in my stomach to make it work and it has been amazing! Sunshine, I know you had a long day yesterday, bless your heart. I hope the dentist visit isn't too bad and you actually get to rest today. Thank you and Ruby both for looking out for me. I deleted my email. Can I hire one of you to follow me around to stop me from being trusting, nieve and STUPID? MB, yes, I am giving that kids the house when it sells. We are going to have to handle the renters so we can pay the ins, taxes and repairs. Not sure they are mature enough or have the time. Ruby, you got fairy cleaners? I want some! I didn't know you had to cook for paid help, but I do know you. You are truly one amazing woman and I love you so much and appreciate all the ways you help me. It is so terribly sad about the shooting. Some people are just evil and don't have the characteristics of God in them...love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Hubs is being TOO thoughtful lately. The suddeness has me a bit off guard. He's bringing home dinner again. Now that's just WEIRD! I can count on my pinkies how often that has happened in 40 years, now every night??

I love that we have our thread to come to to be safe on. The rest of the world might be going crazy but here is calm and peace - most of the time!. Swannie - nice to see you posting too. how are things going today? Don't know about in England but over here they have orange kit-kats that are white chocolate (for Halloween).

Ruby - you sound as busy as ever - wonder why Hubs is being extra nice? you will have to let us know. wonder what he did?

Talk later all - oh, I went shopping this morning after the dentist - I HATE shopping. Bought a coat. Don't think I like it though so might take it back but desperately need a new one. They had a gorgeous bright yellow duffel coat but it was too big - I LOVED it - not sure what Hubs would have thought had I come home with a bright yellow duffel coat but I loved it, and it was the only one they had. Shame.

JUST KIDDING the phone hasnt been ringing esept to answer to tellermarketers trying to sale me something or tell me they have a great deal but it cost 400 to place my company on first page... but life is what it is right now... oh there were 15 poeple at homedepot looking for work ...so when a job comes in and i need help i know where to go ...lol but im trucking along singing my song side by side ... but here that song if anyone would like to listen to it...

Hi All~~been busy but kind of avoiding posting too. I truly had a great holiday weekend. But I did have 1 beer and 1 glass of wine with my friends on Sunday and then the same with family on Monday. There's my fear of disappointing folks.

I have no desire to go jump into a bottle. In fact I am feeling better mentally than I have in 10 years probably. My daughter actually wished me a good Thanksgiving(I did fish for it but it was the first I have received in 10 years). My mom and I had to be re-routed because of an accident on the way home and did some back roading trying to find our way back to her house. It was fun to spend this time with her.

Nora I will be wearing purple something next Wednesday. Ruby are you a Red Hatter? My mom started a chapter in her last location, but then got out of it.

Off to thi chi in a bit. Be well friends.

Swan, so glad to see you back. Are you doing okay? Ruby, I think your husband is finally realizing you CANNOT do all that you do! Praise the Lord! Great to see everyone had a wonderful day. Sunny, Tay wheedled me in to ordering her a yellow jacket today. Is that a new fashion thing? Haven't bought a coat in years, but closet is full of the ones Hubs orders us.
RC, considering that most of us could easily down a bottle of AL in any given day, your restraint is great. This is not a place to apologize to us, just be here, and work on problems, OK?
T, there should be less competition in the day labor pool at supply stores. In Georgia, atleast, the illegals are becoming less visible. Sorry if I offend, but I believe if your first action in this country is criminal, it's a bad start.
In-laws have been home 24 hours, and have caused major problems. Won't go into details, but how nucking futs do they have to get???
So, all in all, a normal day here on the ranch. Of course Hubs isn't home yet, so there may be more to follow! :H
