I'm doing fairly well actually T. I found a support group that really understands what I've gone through and continue to go through with my kids. That goes a long way in feeling "normal"--you know--whatever that is. Just not feeling like a 3 eyed, two headed monster is nice! Have been reading this thread a fair bit this last week and since I know a few of you I felt like posting. I would like to hang out if that's ok. Thank you. I only fear that I can't keep up to everyone. This does feel like a safe supportive place.

RC, there's no keeping up, there's just jumping in. I've read so often that people don't feel they would be 'part of the group', or 'able to keep up with the chat'. Nothing is further from the truth. We all have to start somewhere, and I REALLY stumbled around before I got comfortable. When you come here, the truth is you are noticed, you are welcomed. You don't have to know all our life histories, just join where you are now. I'm an extrovert, make myself at home anywhere. But I DO understand not everyone is that way, and that's FINE.
I went to a little tiny country school. I was poor, but didn't know it, because I was always well-scrubbed and well-dressed, because of my Momma's sewing and housekeeipng skills. I didn't think until years later why the teachers would come and ask me to befriend people who were new, or desperately shy. So many years later, something I did just because it was right comes back to me when people tell me what it meant for me to pay attention to them. It's still no big thing in my eyes, but it was theirs. So NEVER think you're intruding, or aren't welcome to jump in. I personally LOVE meeting new people, and this is a nice warm home for anyone looking for company!sigpic

Ho Rodger remember me I am a man so don't call me a woman when you are whineing!!!!! Realy man I don't know who hurt or set you off but you have alot of loving friends inclusing me!!! I think I speak for us all when I say we will help you. If you need to relocate and don't mind snow and the cold I will find you a place even in my own home if needed find and give you work. From the little I know of you You are one Hell of a man and great one at that. Please don't even think about drinking. I won't tell you I am AF free but I can tell you that MWO is my help to get there and all the others around me on this site or I would be back to drinking every day from 5 to 9 at night and fall asleep not even remembering what I watched on TV. I am thankfull to say I am not that way anymore at all!!!!!! I am not perfact and I know that. I also know only I can change me. MWO is my life support and people here that support me. If it were not for Greatfull I would still be the other way. Life is full of a bunch of shit and we all go through it differently. I know you have seen and lived a good deal of shit but your a surviver and you know where you want to be. so call me anytime 24/7 Your a good man Rodger don't let anyone bring you down!!!!!!!
