Well - I decided to get that Magnesium Citrate the Doctor told me to get to try to clean my bowels. I should have just had some cabbage.

:HIf this doesn't help the pain in my side, then we're going to have to move on to more tests and those will have expensive co-payments.

Oh, Nora, Momma used to say 'you just need a working out'. Meaning, a laxative. When my children were little and stayed with MIL, she would give them something to 'clean them out', till I stopped her, and made her mad! I don't eat enough to need that treatment, plus we eat SO much fresh fruit and veggies. Guess old habits die hard, but didn't like my kids coming home whistlling when they opened their mouths!

Ruby I was often the one that the teachers would hook the new kids up with too. Never really thought about why but I suppose it was because I was kind and polite and didn't just run with the crowd.

Nora is it IBS? I can help with that if you want to do some email exchanges. You have mine. Let me know.

Sunshine gg called me tonight. Keep sending her your love and support guys. Not to worry but I think it would help. Her daughter was arriving soon for the weekend, so that's good.

Thanks RC - I have been so worried about Sunni. I'm glad that her daughter is going to be there soon.
I don't think it's IBS but it could be. My mom has it and has problems. This came on suddenly and I think it might just be combination of my meds and I just wasn't eating right because I wasn't hungry.

Ruby - I would have been LIVID if my mother in law was giving my kids laxatives behind my back. And by the way.....how come you don't eat enough? We are having problems with my Mom not eating enough! What is this a conspiracy?!?

ok ok biz and IAD AND CANT forget guy too ... thankx nora ... now take care yourself nora ... before i quit drinking i was having problems with my belly all the time and they even told me i have colieases of the cololin and use to take all these meds for this and that .. which in turn made me sicker so when i quit drinking i stopped it all and now i feel so much better guess thats one reason i wont go back to drinking .. i now know better and what the docs said were all right

Thanks Rog It is nice to know the men count too even though there are very few of us that can stand up and admit we have a problem!!! Personaly I think women can do more then men. Men have a prolem with standing up and saying to everyone " I have a problem" I don't know that is just my thorght.

really i think it true biz ...most men are to proud to admit they have a problem.. but were not most men are we .. and if you think about another thing most women want to have a man that is open and honest... but then again .. maybe not some would think its a sign of weakness ... but such is life ....and in every man there is spark ...no one will ever see until he or she is open to the big picture of life as one

Well! I got in from work - and started reading our thread - got as far as Rog's post so PM'd him - then read the rest of the posts - decided I just should have posted as I said pretty much the same as everyone else!!! ROG - IGNORE THEM! You are a great person and I have no idea why they are attacking you. You are way better than them - so ignore them and put it in the past.

Ruby - I got to the broke 14 bones and freaked out! NOT FUNNY. What are you trying to do to me? What with Rog's stuff then that - my God! Here I am trying to wind down after a day at work.....wow.

Calm down Jean......Biz - I am sorry I missed your call again - we will catch up soon! Nora - Cascara Sagrada is really good stuff - very gentle!

RC - good to see you here - here is a wonderful place, whatever others might say!! We love and support each other. Want to vent? here. Which reminds me - I need to vent - I am CROSS. Got a letter from my mum today - she knows I am on the Topa and was SO negative about it. not going to go into details but it left me feeling hurt, annoyed, just SO, I don't know - just SO CROSS!!!!! Need to stop, it doesn't do any good. Need to think and regroup. Try to think why she is being the way that she is.

Have to go and feed Maggie and change etc., back later or if not, back tomorrow - out with an old friend for her birthday - a 10-10-10 birthday!!

OK, friends, I was kidding about the bones. I haven't broken any (finger crossed) in 2 years. I had never had a broken bone until 2006, but have had about 20 since then, so you can see why Hubs hovers a lot! :H I was in an insurance paid wheelchair so long I actually own it, so if anyone needs one......... Really, today's fall wasn't bad at all, and nothing broke, just a few bruises. Didn't tell Hubs 'cause when something happens to me it's a 'need to know' thing. No pity, please, just the way it is, and I deal with it very well. Plus, I'm a country girl, always have my body guards looking after me. Just being honest with you peeps, since I'm fragillee! Lots of reasons, but I'm doing very well!
We REALLY appreciate all the men who contribute here. Wish more guys were strong enough to join and get involved, but those we have are real gems. We appreciate you, even when we pick on you!!
