I'm back from meeting with daughter- now about to go out with hubs - RC I work in a bookstore and love it!! Sorry you aren't quite feeling up to snuff this morning! Lots of water!

OK, just need to put this out. Don't feel the need to help, just SO pissed off.
OK, last night Maddie called, said she was sick, could she stay with me today and would I take her to doc. Of course I agreed. Talked to son around 6 AM, he said he felt she would be OK, didn't need appt, but stay with me for TLC.
Around 7:30, Mad AND Grace show up, with the DB, who simply explained Grace was 'really grouchy' today.It had already crossed my mind DB wouldn't want to drive the 3 miles to the school, or get Grace up and dressed, and would keep her out. SNAP!
SO, I check on Mad, feed her breakfast, which she eats, and an early lunch (eaten), call the doc office about a note, call the school to be sure she's OK, give Mad an Ibuprofen, then tell her she's not seeing a doc today. She has a HISSY FIT! I wasn't concerned, but she called her mother, who called my son, threatening abuse (???) and son is 2 hours away. SOOooo, son said he will take her to doc, come hell or high water, and that he has enough info to take DB back to court, get the kids, kick her out. She's a real piece of work. He just wants to cover his ass.
Still I had a talk with Mad, told her if she had a problem here, tell me, but explained what her going behind my back to call DB had done today. She left with hugs and kisses, but a deeper understanding of behavior repercussions.
SOOOOooo, unless your totally confused, this was my day, from 7 AM to 2 PM. No worries, just another day at the Rottweiler Ranch! :Hsigpic

By the way, DB stands for Dumb Bitch. Son keeps telling me we just don't know what all she has done. Mad and Tay are messed up by this already, and Gacie will get there. I told son we'd help with his legal fees if he'd just go ahead and end this. He's been out of the house 10 days, and she's already completely broke. The girls now tell me she spends all the money she gets on herself, and all the utilities are about to be turned off b/c she NEVER pays a bill. I feel she's gonna be in real trouble soon, when all the money stops, and have heard she's spent her child support money on the drug dealer. Can't for the life of me understand where her mind is. Son has tried to work with her to keep the girls in the home, but I knew it wasn't going to work. Gracie hugged and kissed me about 50 times today, each time saying it was another BD gift for me. MIL doesn't know half of this, but still cries herself to sleep over them, and of course tells me.

SO WHATS EVERYONE DOING THIS FINE WEEKEND .. MY LUKE is coming over and we are going to be doing something just not sure what ... thinking canoe... but we still have to have a yard sale and avocados sale too yepp we still have a tree full and growing bigger as i type lol ... SO EVERYONE STAY STRONG AND KEEP SHIFTING FORWARD:beach: life does change as long as you are willing to change yourself ..

Hey T! Going home to cozy up by the fire and read tonight. Early to bed. Working tomorrow. Mom coming for the night and then up early Sunday and off to watch my daughter in a dressage event and jumping. Super excited but a little nervous too.
Will have to wear my long johns maybe if this cold weather is here to stay now.
Hope you get out in the canoe with your son and it is a glorious time.
