I've been house cleaning and listening to Joyce Meyers, who I love! She said something that I and you, Ruby need to remember! "Stop being mad at yourself for not being perfect!" No matter how hard I try, I always fail and then beat myself up for it! What a useless waist of time! God never expected us to be made perfect in this world! Although, Ruby, you come very close.

trap, thinking about it hurts us. Buts it makes us expose our pink little underbellies, which is why it's needed. We want the EASY way out. Ain't no such thing. I'm having a heart-to-heart with my Tay, who has a nasty attitude today, but I shall not be moved. No one else really TALKS to her. So, I've mentioned I won't always be here, but I'll always love her, and it's time for her to suck it up!

Not a good result. She wanted money, I'm sure. Talked bluntly about her parents not teaching her responsibility, respect, and caring for others as much as herself, or showing it in their lives. Not caring about making her get her education, son leaving it to his at-home b-wife to handle, who hide the details from him till she was in trouble. I'm the only one trying to make this better, besides the support of Hubs and his parents, son. But I have to be tough. She said she shouldn't have to beg for clothes, and she shouldn't. But ex thinks she can run out with the support check, spend a bit on designer clothes for the girls, and blow the rest on herself and stupid stuff for the house, which in a few days she'll throw or give away. No bills paids, no groceries. Can't really explain how messed up she is, but her own mother won't take her, and her sisters are disgusted, as well as all friends. We've TRIED so many times to get her help, and I don't resolve son of blame for not dealing with it, but she's gorgeous, the mother of his girls. and he DOES feel sympathy. She needs help, but she's destroying us. He's living in travel trailer in the back of our property, but MIL does his laundrey, (and is nosey!! :H) and when picking it up the other day found, (yes) read letter to him from her saying she REALLY wanted to make it work, wanted to be a family, wanted all worked out. Even then she was in his truck at her drug dealer boyfriends house for the weekend. WTF.
I love my son. What he does is important, but his business. But my granddaughters??? Thats another fucking thing! Sorry, pardon my french, but I will come out swinging, and no one wants that at home. Trust me. Poor Hubs. But some things need to be be handled.

hi rubes, i feel ya. i havent read back story if there is one. the whole sthick with spending monye on fluffy stuff is big in our house, my misses gets it from her mum.
we currently have my little brother in law living with us cause MIL has no idea. he is 8yr has been expelled from one school and suspended from current school 4/5 times this year.
when he was expelled his mom got him a playstation to keep him out of her hair.
"what do you mean thats encouraging bad behavior, i cant stay at home to watch him i have poker to get to!' she leaves him at home alone since 6, says he needs to learn inderpendance...ffs, get him to feed the dog or take or the bin!!!

Anyways, dosages for dogs go by weight too. An adult dose recommendation refers to 125-150lb generally. So that sounds ok. For arthritis vets always recommend glucosamine "hydrochloride" because dogs have shorter digestive tracts and this form enters the system more quickly. Vets charge outrageous amounts when you can get it much cheaper in a health food store. I would give him that as well. Not sure about the lymes disease. That would take some research but the immune system will definitely need support. Oil oregano wouldn't hurt as an antibacterial. I know it's hard to see our pets suffer. I almost lost my little Magda to mange over a year ago. It took alot of work to bring her back. I refused to take her to the vet after all the research I did. They could have killed her just as easily as if I had not succeeded and cost me big dollars to do it. Hope that helps. xo

Aw Ruby I am sorry for your grandchildren and I know how badly you want to help them. I guess they are the only ones you can help. Perhaps DIL is a narcissist/sociopath in the clinical sense? If so your son is probably experiencing 'trauma bonding" with her and he will really need to educate himself to remove himself from that to heal and go forward. Hugs to you and strength Rubes. xox

Thanks, Asp. Sorry to complain here. But my grands are my greatest treasures now, and I hold the adults acountable. No one gets a ride on this crap. We don't bring them into this world to ignore them, expect them to grow up on their own. At least not mine. Tay will come back. I'm all she really has. As well as the others. Sad, isn't it? My daughter is the next best thing.

And you, RC, and yes , that's exactly my primitive diagnosis. She will tell anyone what they want to hear to make them them happy and keep herself from a real discussion. She's acutally been called to court because of it, had to admit she lied. It's sad, buts she's ruining my granddaugdaughters, and poisening them against us. She feels we have enough money to pay for anything they want.
