I have GOT to get my hair done - roots are as long as color, but not white(hehehe) a mix. Hubs actually ON his way home from work. That's a first lately. Think I shook his ass up yesterday. Oh well, whatever it takes. Later, gaters. (and I WILL ride Jazz one day, if I have to rent a crane!! :H)

If Hubs went to a bar, I'd rent an escort.

Ruby, I have no doubt that you will ride that horse again! MB, we miss you so much, but I am so happy for you getting such a great job! Hey, Nora, hope you are doing well. Where is everyone this evening?
Well, I had a great day and got my house so clean. Hubby came home about 5 with a bag. Damn, that bag looked so familiar and then he pulls out a fifth of Jack and a fifth of vodka! OMG! Does he not realize that I am a vodka addict and it is poison for me? He says he got it for the kids cause they always want to drink while they are here and he needed some Jack for his pain cause his gout is back. Hello??? I do not want to drink. Why is it when it is around and in my face that it is so damn hard to resist it? But I am not going to drink because I want to feel good tomorrow when the kids get here and I need to get started early making my seafood gumbo. Damn him!
I'm not what I should be, I'm not what I could be. I'm definetly not who I want to be,
but I'm sure not who I used to be!

Hi all - Vicki - doesn't hubs know that the booze will make his gout worse???? Jan - we all miss you SO MUCH !!!!! Ruby and others - I used to ride too -many years ago, would love to ride again - would probably get very sore but would still like to give it a try!! I am feeling pretty good thank you everyone that asked - RC worked wonders for me - RC I am totally dumbfounded about your comment about hoping something is big - have no idea at all what you are on about!! Oh - and re the oil of oregano - yes, it does get easier the longer you take it. I am still taking it in OJ but it doesn't seem as bad today!! I am also down to one soda too - go me!!

Vicki - loved your funny about the clean house being the sign of a broken computer!!

Trap - your little boy is an absolute sweetheart! What a super photo!! Tape THAT to your steering wheel and if that doesn't stop you from going to the liquor store when you have been drinking, NOTHING will!!! Wow - what a gorgeous boy!

Panno - I will PM you re Swannie and her surgery - not for the general public!! Hope you are doing okay?? I laughed at your description of Manchester and the beach!!

Hey there Topsy - how are you doing - feeling good I hope???

RC - I am so pleased that you got the e-mail from your daughter about the texts explaining stuff to you - it is so easy to let the little stuff get to you when really it was all over nothing. sounds as if stuff is all good! I am so glad! Slowly does it eh??

Nora - sorry about your sniffles - by the way, oil of oregano is good for allergies as well as sniffles!! LOL !!!

Trap - if all you had was half a bottle of champers then I hardly think that qualifies as a fail - in my opinion anyway! I am amazed at how well you are doing. Please don't think you have failed at that amount- you can't expect miracles over night - really!! And we ALL wish Rog lived nearer us - if we all lived near to each other, we would keep Rog in work for a year!!

Biz - hi to you - you sounds pretty busy! Grateful - I will e-mail you. Bird - I will tell Swannie you said hi and the others too that sent messages - if I get to talk to her tomorrow morning. Time - hi to you as well. Hugs to all of you,

                take care,

                love, Sun xx

Blaaaah. I think I'm going to have to throw in the towel with the baclofen. Today I got a nasty bit of vertigo at a bad moment, when talking to my boss. I'm so tired of having an upset stomach and feeling ill. Last night for about three hours, every time I finally got to sleep, I'd stop breathing and wake up with a start. I'm only on 90 mg and cannot imagine going higher.

I'll keep it for anxiety, and it as reduced my drinking very significantly (and gave me several days running AF), but I just can't follow the bac program and work for a living too.

So, I'll have to apply more traditional means of not drinking, which pretty much boils down to just not drinking.

SOBS, my mum has this saying and its too true: If you sit in the barbers chair, eventually you will get a haircut.....If the kids want to drink vodka when they come to your home, wouldnt it be better for you if they bring their own.

Sapphire, you are so right and we have tried to do that only to have to make a 30 minute run to the liquor store later. I think I'm ok, been sitting out back watching the sunset talking to God. I'm much more relaxed now and my fav show comes on tonight "grey's anatomy". I may go to chat in a bit though. Love you al, Vicki

Well miracles of miracles...got to chat with my daughter on FB today. I mentioned Christmas dinner at my house and she said it's possible and would talk to her BF!
Vicki I'm so happy to hear you're staying strong and Saf is right!
Ruby I'd be doing something about the bar scene too if I had a hub.
Sun not sure what the "big" comment was about or where I said it?? So glad you are kicking it's butt and now an advocate!
Nora dear friend~~~don't know what to say but thinking of you.
