Cold and dark here too. If feels close to our first freeze. But is really wonderful to wake up without a hangerover.

Happy Halloween, everyone! It's double holiday for us since it's hubby's birthday. I always tell him that I cannot figure out if he is a trick or a treat.

I was going to bake an Atkins pumpkin cheesecake and decided, screw that because I'd have to clean my kitchen first! I'm thinking of this instead (the Peanut Butter Playground cake):

My kids, their spouses and my grandson will all be there (at my daughter's house since her kitchen is already clean).

Otherwise, I intend to spend the day working very hard on procrastinating.

Morning don't want anyone thinking I've run amuck. I went out Friday night to a friends and had a great time although we did drink too much. I found it difficult to post yesterday as I don't want to glamourize it but also can't pretend I didn't have a great time. hmmm The host is a great guitarist and song writer. So we were singing and dancing and hand jiving all night. We had a dd and no one got sloppy drunk. Worked yesterday, carved my pumpkin and read in the evening making it an early night. I think I'm way over my new bandwith time on my stick so not able to use the internet at home at night again. Just popped in cuz I forgot cream for coffee this am.

Ruby love your artwork too! It will be good for you to get away and enjoy it.

Sun just increase the protocol again for a few days. Sometimes it may not stay a cold but almost guaranteed to prevent secondary infections. Licorice root tea is very good for the lungs (and inexpensive) as long as you have no BS issues.

Well. I told the wife yesterday and that did not go well at all. We had a huge fight and now are not talking. I am feeling depression kick in all over me. It is even hard to post on this fucking board. I have to keep a smile on for my kids because of Halloween but wish I could just drive away and forget all of this. For the first time in my life death seems like a better option than fighting through this crap. Don't worry I am not suicidal but it does seem attractive right now. Till later

Zach, this is what passes for normal with us. The fights with Hubs were Horrific, but he's still here, and so am I. It can, and WILL work, but you do have to work it. You have to feel the bottom, the desperation, to understand what you are up against, and what there is to lose. Our ffirst impulse is to to run, but we'd only leave the good, and take the bad. The hiding has only been making you feel more shame. Call me. We'll talk about this.

Feeling really blue today and jusy lying around. Didn't sleep well last night so tired today. I have allowed my self today to pout and then tomorrow is a new day. Tears keep popping up, but I think that is natural after what happened.
Ruby...you look GREAT. We have done absolutley NOTHING for Halloween this year.
OK...gonna climb back in my hole and read a bit.....and take my antabuse.
