    Army Thread 3rd October

To be honest, one of them was still drunk!
Im soo happy these days are over for me, it fills me with dread...

I was at a party last night and was probably the only one not drinking, it was hard I must admit, I didnt want to drink at all but chatting and meeting new people would have been a little easier with a drink in my hand. There was a "certain" guy who I was trying to get to know and it would have flowed better if id had a couple, but I know id then have blown it by getting pissed so im very glad this morning to have my dignity intact.

Good morning Army, Just trying to catch up on the posts. Glad to hear Mr. Stirls is coming home today--:l Stirly. And hugs to you and your family too Starts. Your post just brought tears to my eyes when you wrote that her dog is staying right by your mum's side. So beautiful that she is at home with her loved ones and her faithful pet. I hope I will be as lucky as her one day to be surrounded by such love when my time comes. :l:l:l

Beautifully put, Tawny. I just can't find any words at all.

            Morning to all,
It could be worse, I could be filing.

                Starty,

I am so glad you had this time with your Mum.

I hope now that she slips away painlessly and peacefully, it sounds like she is ready.

Strength to you and your brother. xxx
