Even so.....still wouldnt have known it was her.
When I went to Ireland and met Oney and Limers for the first time, I stood right next to them and rang them, we were talking and realised we were closer than we thought!

It was great meeting her and Mr. Rags. We picked them up at 11.00 a.m. Drove around my home town a bit to show them some of the historical sites. I had to keep interrupting her to show her the places because she was talking so much :H

Then on to a fantastic lunch at 13.00, which inadvertently lasted until after 16.00... (we got talking). Mrs. T and I only got home around 17.30 yesterday afternoon.

I took a chance and just said "Rags?" (just using her real name, of course). She turned around and said yes

Oh, I almost forgot: turns out both Rags & Mrs. T are cradle-snatchers. Mr. Rags is 6 years younger, and I am eight.

I think that after sharing such personal, often painful things on here, coming out of the personal hells we found ourselves in, the chit-chat and friendly togetherness comes easily - we know all too well what the struggle is about...

And it was fantastic to talk openly: we didn't dwell on alcoholism in any way, shape or form, but we spoke about MWO - how we found it, what it has meant to us etc.

And then we just started getting to know each other, I guess and it flowed form there...

I must admit that I was nervous as hell beforehand - the same feeling I had before meeting Grim & Sunbird.

Yes, Jan: it's working for me. In actual fact, today was the 1st time that Mrs. T joined me.

She was literally in tears shortly after we left home, because she was worried about the cubs having to get ready for school on their own... By the time she phoned at 6.30 to check that they were up, both had already dressed and they were watching telly, waiting for their ride to pick them up.

We'll save a stack of money this way. At least 300 Euro in fuel alone - never mind longer term maintenance costs.

I hope Ollie gets a role - the youngest cub once appeared in an advertisemnt for a local chain og steakhouses, and the memory is still very vivid to her :H
