Morning all. Starts, my first thoughts this morning were of you and your mom. Hope you are getting some rest and taking care of yourself too!

I'm in a quandary this morning. Two weeks ago, the paper I worked for was cut by 25%, and I was taken off staff and relegated to freelance writing. But I haven't received any assignment for this week, so I'm wondering if I have an income anymore (cue anxiety attack). There's really no hope for improvement since it's a newspaper, so . . .

I guess I'll try not to think about it, clean house and do the loads of laundry that I've been ignoring.

Hi gang...
did my MRI ok no probs, just had to wait a while, as is the norm with these sort of things..
they are wierd things but not harmful just wierd noises..
At least they'll know what's what's gone on with my spine, get the results in 10 days. but the silly thing is the appt with the traumatologist to read the results isn't till next April 2011...!!!
but I suppose if it happens again they can see what it is...not that I ever never want that pain again.....!!!!!!!

Just a little chuckle for you all...when I left this morn Bonnie came to stay with Ollie..she wanted to make boiled eggies for them both for breakfast and told me "it's ok mummy I live in my casa now and know how to cook eggs"........!

so I bravely left them to get on with it.....!!

came home and after being told what they had been up to and who won what on the playstation etc...
Ollie pipped up "mummy Bonnie's eggie solders are not like yours, bonnie made them and they were stinky like farts"............!!!!

she then told me indignantly "ooh mummy you had rotten eggs in your fridge, don't you check your eggs"...????? I was suprised as they were fresh at the weekend..she said "well two were ok and runny but the others were grey and hard and stunk, I put them out on the balcony, you should check your fridge mummy"..!!

then she told me that I should keep them together and not inseperate fridges.....!!
hang on.."where did you get them"..? I asked..
"well two from that fridge and the other two from that one"...

pissed myself laughing...she had boiled my hard boiled eggs I had done for salad.!!!
doubley cooked boiled eggs go very,very rock hard and STINK...!!!!!:H:H:H:H
