I'm a "platinum blonde" under the brunette dye. I've been getting white hair since my 20s, so it's no big. What bugs me is seeing a white hair in my eyebrow!

Well, if I was unemployed today, it was only for a few hours and I could be marginally employed, which means my former boss wants me to join Americorps and work for peanuts half-time. I like the work, it's just that Americorps director and I got in something of Donnybrook that eventually involved the Americorps board and the President of my college at the time. As you might imagine, she really doesn't like me much at all. And, of course, the money positively sucks, but it's better than having a hole in my resume. I have enough of those already! My resume reminds one of a badly crafted quilt.

Maybe if I can get assigned at least a couple stories a week, I can make enough at least to buy food and pay utilities.

It's something to do for now - and having too much time on my hands is not good. Too much time to get the ol' anxiety monster fired up; too much time to think about drinking. :/

According to the GSK survey 74% of South Africans think their fellow citizens are overweight, while only 34% of people consider themselves as overweight or obese. Are you one of those people who are in denial?

Sadly, the majority of South Africans believe themselves to be healthy, even when they are overweight and obese. According to the survey 78% of obese people think they are somewhat healthy/very healthy, 52% of morbidly obese people think they are somewhat healthy or very healthy and, a scary 42% have no health concerns at all. Only 47% of the survey participants recognise that exercise/physical activity is critical.

Mrs. T has a single grey hair... We see it about once every three months or so when it becomes long enough to be spotted.
