    Morning, Tip

My, you were up early! I wonder when the rest of the Army will start getting their lazy bums into gear?

Ah, you know how it is, Tiggs...

Some folks just need more time to get into gear, I guess.

Tip there is a downunder secret about dunking them into a morning milky coffee, and sucking the coffee up through the chocolate bits.

Not that I have done that for many years you understand :H

In fact I'm just making broccolli and leek fritters with coriander and red pepper sauce!

KTAB you would be in vegetarian heaven here at the moment. We have had so much rain that all the crop farmers are giving up and just pulling stuff out of the ground (20c for a head of broccolli). Plus the earthquake in Chch means that farmers down there just need to get rid of stuff (27 cents for a kilo of apples) . It is tragic for the farmers of course, because they have lost their livelihood.

Anyway, I'm sure you have other things on your minds - particularly at this time in the morning.

That must be gut wrenching for the farmers concerned. Food is never that far from my mind but its porridge and black coffee time of the morning here now.

He is very particular about how said porridge and coffee is to be prepared... Any old stuff just won't cut it...

Too right this breakfast lark is a serious business. No half cooked slice of toast dangling out of the corner of my mouth while running out of the door, only one arm in the sleeve of my jacket, shoe laces undone and hair looking like a pile of hedge cuttings.
