        I worked hard all day looking forward to the Vaseline thread, only to find that it had died.:upset:

        Why do the really good threads always leave us? Is it fate, is it destiny, is it just a cruel joke perpetrated by life?

        But, I would like to at least acknowledge the thread, for all the good things it did - educationally (who knew who invented Vaseline), artistically (one group was named for it and another did a video all about it), and emotionally - .

        I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me. :upset:

            Tracy, this is just one of those hard lessons we have to learn along life's way. In time, you'll be able to look back on our time learning about the wonders of vaseline as a good time, you'll have happy memories of sun-filled days skipping through fields with unchapped lips and grazes that don't sting. For now, just let the tears flow. And lets all give a big thank you to Ruby, without whom this would never have happened. Thank you, Ruby.

                      When I was teenager, I remember wrapping saran wrap around my stomach and then playing tennis. What a wonderful way to sweat & lose weight. By the time I got done, it looked like I had wet my pants. That was a long walk home.:H:H
