Doing good thanks Jan, but need to get a shift on if I want my porridge this morning and you know I cant function without a good brekkie. What a change from when I was on the sauce big time, never ever ate till lunchtime.

Morning Army, It's a beautiful bright and crisp Autumn day here. Working in a cool area of Paris today (lots of shops ) and plan to go in early to do a bit of window shopping before my classes start. I am on the search for THE PERFECT PAIR OF BOOTS. They must be stylish but comfy. Because I walk miles every day. Hope you all have a great Thursday. expat xxx

Hey Oners - just been a beautiful walk with my dog, not a cloud in the sky but definitly autumnal. Will I need my thermal knickers next week?

Went to see EAT PRAY LOVE last night.... OMG it was just me on my spiritual journey! Now of course I want to eat spagetti in Rome, meditate in India and fall in love in Bali

                      Morning All!
Not be long till we're in the grip of another winter, in the UK at least. I've mixed feelings about the cold and dark. It's too cold and dark for a start, but it's also Hallowe'en and Bonfire night, then Christmas and a few days off the treadmill. It's funny how childhood memories of dressing up and baked potatoes on a bonfire never leave you.

I LOVE the cold and dark Pops...MUCH better than the summer, not sure why, I think it is the open fires and warmth that I find comforting...could also mean I am a depressed vampire...

Morning Tips, mario,Starts, Roobs,KT,LJ,Chilly,Xpat,Pops,Oney and all those yet to come.

Funny that, Autumns me favourite time

Can't stand the Summer, always get disappointed. I get that excited by the promise of lots of sunshine and wandering round in little tops and shorts. You'd think I'd realise by now.

And Winter, batten down the hatches, big pans of mince and taties, sponge puddings, big jumpers. Love it :l
It could be worse, I could be filing.

It's one of the reasons we got married in November just so the guests would know what to wear. Summer weddings we expect to go all hats and floaty dresses and 9 times out of 10 it pisses down.
You should have seen me and the bridesmaid's saucy long Johns and thermal vests.
