Hello Army.
Hey Zenners. You've really got that multi-quote thingey down to a fine art. Good for you.
Just took a quick peek back over the posts. What's with your little girl JackieClaire? Hope she can get something to help her overcome those panic attacks. I have had them in a mild form and they ain't fun at all. Can't imagine a full-blown one.
Starty. I'm glad that things went well at your Mum's funeral. Such a difficult thing to go through but I will say what the others said.... you, your brother and your niece did your Mum and yourselves proud. When my Dad died, my Mom asked each of us kids to write a few lines about the things we remembered most about our Dad. It was something that helped me a lot to deal with his death. I remembered the fun parts, the things that made me smile and the parts where I was his "favourite" daughter. I got closure writing about the special memories I had of him. I hope that you can do something like that too. I still think of him a lot even after almost 7 years, but it is always with a wee smile and a mental hug. Hope you can do the same. You were a rock for your Mum the last while and I know that you knowing that you gave your best care to her and that you were sober and experiencing every second of her last days will give you peace. She's in a special place now and at peace but will live on in your thoughts. I hope that will give you comfort. Always remember the good times, the laughter, the smiles. They are what count. :l:l
Have to walk the dog and then I'm off to bed. Hopefully the computer will not act up over the weekend and I can get on here once in a while.
to all.
Stirly :h
