295th Day of the Year

Tomorrow, October 22, 2010 is the 295th day of the calendar year. I am going to go home and count how many of those have been AF for me. I need some reinforcement right now. Who else knows their year-to-date number? (including slips, relapses and all)

295th Day of the Year

295 days for me in 2010. Looking back to my join year of 2007, I don't know the exact number of days but 2007 was probably around 70 days. 2008 was 224 days for sure, plus a hand full from my period still struggling from January to May 22. 2009 was 365 days AF for the first time ever in adult life.

Most of us don't get it right the first time. The important thing is to insist on learning and getting better at it - not allowing the fact that it's hard to get it right to become the excuse to drink.

Well I counted and I have 207 out of 295 AF days this year. Not bad, but next year will be better!

Hi Trapped Dad,
I know how difficult it can be to get your AF days started. I tried for years and years, I'd usually get to day 3 and that would be it. But I just want you to know that you are not alone, and this CAN be done. Don't overthink it, just take each moment as it comes. We're here if you need to talk!
