I am not going to drink today, do not want to be bloated from drinking a fifth and I cant keep spending 10 dollars a night on a fifth..... Back to day 3 AF...... Still feeling crappy, anxiety, only if I could stop thinking about the past and stupid things ive done while I was drunk maybe some of the cravings would go away, as you all know I know ive repeated it before, I was up to a gallon of rum and vodka... then i was usually just a fifth.... now its Day 3 AF gotta do it this time, my blood pressure and trigcliccerides have never been this high when I stopped drinking......like I always say thanks for the support this board gives..Comment

Well done to all of you above me keep up the good work !!
I will not be drinking today because I love waking up in the middle of
the night and not beating myself up for blacking out yet again and making
myself those false promises that we all make that we will give up and yet by
4pm the next day are making plans for when I can start my first drink, thankgod
those days are over.

I am not going to drink today or tonight because I want to be bright and alert for church tomorrow and a hangover wouldn't do that.....in fact it could prevent me from going to church tomorrow so I just won't drink.I quit drinking on March 8, 2020. Taking it One Day At A Time and no more taking my quit for granted.
Also doing it for me. I got to stay sober for me.
Just consecrate on today and do what you can to remain sober for today and worry about staying sober tomorrow, tomorrow.Comment
